More than 1 million antidrug booklets distributed by Scientologists in Cortina Olympics
A nationwide drug prevention campaign in Italy has exceeded one million drug-prevention booklets distributed in recent weeks. The initiative forms part of the Truth About Drugs campaign, which aims to provide accessible knowledge about commonly abused substances and their impact on health and society.
Approximately five hundred volunteers are participating in the outreach effort, distributing materials in cities, neighbourhoods and local businesses. The campaign focuses on raising awareness before drug use begins, providing resources designed to explain the dangers of drugs in a understandable way.
The campaign is connected to broader humanitarian initiatives supported by eu newsletter the Church of Scientology, inspired by the work of Scientology founder L. Ron Hubbard.
